  1. Purpose of HyGlos
  2. =================

  4.         From first appearances, HyGlos is a deceptively simple program for
  5.         illustrating the concept of hypertext <link04>.  However, important
  6.         advantages of HyGlos are:
  7.  
  8.            - Royalty-free for shareware or commercial applications   <link15>
  9.            - Uses familiar ASCII software for hypertext construction <link16>
  10.            - Suitable for classroom training and instruction         <link17>
  11.            - Uses minimal system (256K -- floppy disk system)        <link12>

  13.         However, one unique operating advantage of HyGlos is that:

  15.           - HyGlos executes hypertext jumps displayed by any program
  16.             such as within LOTUS, DBASE, WordPerfect, etc.           <link19>

  18.         Whenever any file or program displays angle bracket jump,    <link13>
  19.         activate HyGlos, then press arrow keys to instantly convert  <link42>
  20.         the current screen into a hypertext screen with the jumps
  21.         highlighted.
